Zhengzhou Food Additive Factory Explosive 12-person hospital wounded security upgrade

At 10 o'clock on the morning of July 22, Zhengzhou Haiweili Food Industry Co., Ltd., located in the northern section of Jiangshan Road, Huiji District, Zhengzhou City, had a dust explosion. Fourteen shop workers were injured as a result of the explosion, 12 of them were seriously injured.

At noon on July 23, the reporter went to the Burns Section of the First People's Hospital of Zhengzhou City for an interview. However, there were security guards inside and outside the ward of the Ward Building. The reporter wanted to go in and understand the situation. He also stated that the person entering the ward must report the name and bed number of the visiting patient before entering the building.

A surname Liu staff member of Zhengzhou Huiji District Propaganda Department told the reporter that in order to prevent burns patients from cross-infection, consider that the injured person will be emotional and cause burns and skin cracking, so as to facilitate better treatment observation of burn patients and declined interviews with reporters. Family visits are also not allowed.

According to reports, on the day of the incident, 14 injured people were admitted to the First People's Hospital of Zhengzhou through a 120 ambulance. Of these, 6 were severely burned (75% to 80% of total body burns), 6 were severe burns (area burned above 50%), and 1 was moderately burned (burn area was 30% to 40%) ), 1 person with mild burn (burn area 20%).

According to Liu Xing’s staff, at present, 14 patients with burned wounds have been out of danger and their vital signs are normal. They have been treated by different attending physicians in three wards.
